Vertical 01 / 11
Auto Insurance
A driver who just opened a renewal notice is the most valuable person in this market while the decision is fresh. Our funnels catch that moment, record the consent and hand the shopper to a licensed team while the intent is still warm.

Who buys, and why
Carriers with captive agents, independent agencies, comparison platforms and the networks that feed them all compete for the same shopper. Some want an exclusive record, others are happy to bid on a shared one through a ping tree.
Whichever side you sit on, the questions are the same: was the shopper real, did they ask to hear from you, and can your agents reach them before a competitor does.
Pick a delivery model
| Point of comparison | Ping-post | Direct post | Live transfer / calls |
|---|---|---|---|
| You receive | The full record, once your bid wins | Every record that passes your filters | A consumer live on the phone |
| Price | Bid in real time on a partial record | A fixed amount set in writing | Per transfer or billable call |
| Consent must name | Every buyer who could win | You, or a short list | The team the caller reaches |
| Contact speed | Seconds, then your dialler | Seconds, then your dialler | Instant |
| Suits | Networks and buyer panels | One buyer, steady filters | Licensed teams on shift |
Auto Insurance programmes run on all three. Which one suits you comes down to how quickly your team picks up and how many buyers one record should reach. It is settled on paper before the first click.
Inside a good record

- Drivers in the household
- Self-reported tickets, accidents or DUI

- Continuous-coverage minimum
- No SR-22 or DUI
- Homeowners
- Number of vehicles
- Driver age bands
Signs the intent is real
Use these to judge our traffic for yourself:
- Came in from a quote search, not a broad awareness ad
- Filled in vehicle details instead of skipping them
- Named a carrier and a reason to switch, such as a rate rise or a new car
- Phone number reaches a person and matches the ZIP
- Time spent on the form looks human
Your scorecard
The numbers auto insurance teams tend to judge a source by. During a test we ask for them per source and per day so we can tune. They are measures for you to fill in, not results we claim.
The rulebook
One consent standard, every vertical. Each funnel collects prior express written consent that names the business, or the short list of businesses, allowed to call or text. The FCC's 2023 one-to-one rule was struck down by the 11th Circuit in January 2025 and never came into force. We name sellers anyway: it reads more honestly to consumers, buyers often require it, and it holds up better under challenge.
Consent before any dialling. Autodialed or prerecorded calls and texts to a mobile number need prior express written consent. The form names the seller or sellers, not a hidden list behind a link.
Licensed people only. Quoting and selling insurance requires a licence in the shopper's state. Growth Box creates interest; we never quote, bind or advise on coverage.
Honest ads. We do not run savings figures or "guaranteed" claims unless the buyer can back them and supplies the wording, and we never suggest a carrier or government connection that is not real.
Do Not Call still applies. Buyers scrub the National DNC Registry and follow state rules on calling hours and frequency, including the state mini-TCPAs.
Where it goes wrong
The riskOld data dressed up as new
What we doEvery record is born in our funnel at submission and carries its timestamp. We never resell aged files.
The riskRewards or sweepstakes clicks in the quote path
What we doIncentivised sources are excluded, and the source mix is disclosed on request.
The riskConsent that never mentions you
What we doSeller-specific consent is wired into each funnel and matched to your panel.
The riskThe same shopper sold to you twice
What we doPhone, email and device de-duplication inside the window you set.
Ask any publisher this
- Is "currently insured" self-reported or verified?
- How many buyers can one shared record reach?
- What mix of search, social and native drives the quote intent?
Our answers come in writing, before you commit to a test.
Ways to receive it
- Ping-post into your tree or bidding platform
- Direct HTTPS post, JSON or form-encoded, into a CRM
- Warm transfers to licensed agents in your hours
- Inbound calls on dedicated tracking numbers
Each record travels with its source, landing page, disclosure version, timestamp, IP and, if you need one, a consent-certificate reference. More on how it works.
Quick questions
Exclusive or shared?
Either. How many buyers a record can reach is written into the consent and the agreement before launch.
Can we have consent certificates?
Yes. If you require an independent certificate, it is captured at submission and its reference travels with the lead.
Can you hold back SR-22 or high-risk drivers?
Yes. Filters are per buyer, and excluded records never reach your ping.
